StrongHuman Fitness is a small personal training company dedicated to the improvement of our Physical Culture. As mainstream media shovels their ideas of "fitness" down our throats with crazy gizmos, machines, miracle supplements and unrealistic physiques, many of us have been lead down a path of "fitness confusion". In the early 1900's training was viewed more as the development of physical culture. Strength, conditioning and overall wellness was the goal. Looks, although a consideration, were secondary. It's time that we embrace this classic view of training and get back to what is truly important, developing extreme all-around fitness!

What is fitness? Fitness is defined by nine essential elements:

Strength: the extent to which muscles can exert force by contracting against resistance
Power: the ability to exert maximum muscular contraction instantly in an explosive burst of movements
Agility: the ability to perform a series of explosive power movements in rapid succession in opposing directions
Balance: the ability to control the body's position, either stationary or moving
Flexibility: the ability to achieve an extended range of motion without being impeded by excess tissue (fat or muscle)
Local Muscle Endurance: a single muscle's ability to perform sustained work
Cardiovascular Endurance: the heart's ability to deliver blood to working muscles and their ability to use it
Strength Endurance: a muscle's ability to perform a maximum contraction time after time
Co-ordination: the ability to integrate the above listed components so that effective movements are achieved.

With this in mind we can now see that fitness is much more than just "having a six pack". Using this as a guideline there is no other single tool that can deliver like the kettlebell
!

What is a kettlebell? It's a cast iron weight that looks like a cannon ball with a handle. Compact and virtually indestructible the kettlebell is the ultimate tool for developing extreme all-around fitness that can be used anywhere!
